We are seeking a skilled Technical Project Manager with a strong Java background to lead and deliver complex enterprise projects. This role requires hands-on technical understanding, strong project management capability, and excellent English communication skills to work directly with international clients and distributed teams.
The ideal candidate is someone who can bridge business, engineering, and delivery, actively drive decisions, manage risks, and ensure high-quality outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end project delivery, from planning and execution to release and post-delivery support.
- Act as the primary point of contact for international clients, ensuring clear communication, expectation management, and stakeholder alignment.
- Translate business requirements into clear technical direction for development teams.
- Work closely with Java development teams to review designs, architecture decisions, and implementation approaches.
- Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and resource plans; track progress and manage dependencies.
- Proactively identify risks, issues, and bottlenecks; propose and drive mitigation plans.
- Ensure delivery quality by working closely with QA, DevOps, and architecture teams.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-up, Review, Retrospective) or manage projects in hybrid Agile/Waterfall environments as required.
- Prepare and present project status reports, dashboards, and executive updates
Required skills/Experience:
08+ years of experience in software development and project delivery, with a strong hands-on Java background.
- 03+ years of experience in a Project Manager or Technical PM role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of Java and related technologies such as Spring / Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, Microservices.
- Solid understanding of software architecture, system integration, and SDLC best practices.
- Proven experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Very good English communication skills (spoken and written, TOEIC 750+ or equivalent), comfortable working directly with international clients.
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, handle ambiguity, and drive results.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Experience working with distributed or offshore teams.
- PM or Agile certifications (PMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master) are a plus.
- Experience in domains such as enterprise platforms, fintech, telecom, or large-scale systems.
