We are seeking a Senior Telecom Tester responsible for validating telecom applications and network solutions including VoIP, SIP, IMS, Desktop tools, and APIs. The role involves functional, regression, integration, and system testing to ensure high-quality telecom service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze solution/system/feature requirements & review design work products
- Analyze business requirements, call flows, and telecom protocols (SIP, SS7, Megaco/H.248, RTP, Diameter, etc.)
- Design, develop, and execute test cases (manual & automation)
- Perform: Functional testing, Regression testing, Integration testing, End-to-end call flow validation
- Validate SIP signaling using tools (e.g., Wireshark, SIPp)
- Test provisioning systems, subscriber management platforms, and network elements
- Log, track, and verify defects using Jira or similar tools
- Collaborate with Designers to clarify issues
- Monitor the progress against the plan & dynamically adjust the remaining coverage based on testing outputs & risk assessment
Required Skill/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications or Computer Science
- 2+ years’ experience in telecom or VoIP testing
- Strong knowledge of telecom protocol: SIP, SS7, M3UA, H.248, RTP, VoIP, GSM, LTE, 5G
- Experience with: Log analysis & SIP trace analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven time management, organizational and follow-up skills to meet deadlines
- Abilities to effectively work and collaborate with remote colleagues.
- Good communication skills in English (TOEIC 650+)
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Class 4 / Class 5 Softswitch systems, including MGC, MG
- Knowledge of SBC, Media Gateway, or IMS Core
- CI/CD integration experience
- Basic scripting (Perl, Python, Java,…)
Ability to learn new things fast or passion in investigating new technology trends
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of cloud-based telecom platforms
- AI-assisted test automation experience
- Automation testing skillset
- Foundation in Software testing or ISTQB cert
